Original US Half Sheet for the 1968 Lindsay Anderson English counterculture school revolution thriller. Note that this movie was originally released with an "X" rating in the U.S. due to its extreme violent content (some of which involved fairly young children). After an appeal, the rating was lowered to "R". Given today's concerns about school violence (and after major incidents like Columbine), one wonders what rating this movie would get if it were released today! Also, it is clear that Lindsay Anderson was influenced in making this movie by the 1933 French classic, "Zero For Conduct".
