Audrey Hepburn posters are very collectable and "My Fair Lady" are particularly sought after, especially for this oscar winning film. Stamped on the rear and on the front it states this is the first photograph of Audrey Hepburn in costume for her title role as Eliza Doolittle in the Warner Bros. motion picture production of the Alan Jay Lerner-Frederick Lowe Musical, which goes before the camera Tuesday (Aug. 13) for the first time. Date stamped Aug 1963 on the rear.
This original photograph or ‘publicity still’ was first issued to promote the film’s release. Captured on set during production, publicity stills were designed to be sent inside press kits to newspapers, magazines and cinemas.
