An Original UK Quad Poster for the 1979 re-release for this classic 1972 Sam Peckinpah romantic crime action thriller. Beautiful Arnaldo Putzu art on this sought after Steve McQueen title. Probably one of Putzu's very finest poster illustrations & a rare case where a re-release poster (as here) is worth more than the original. The 1972 original was based on a photographic still from the film but the likeness of McQueen was poor. For the '79 re-release Putzu was drafted in to make amends & he did it in some style.
